In the past people were referring to working space as area designated to work, with strict lines and minimum design, or grand but non ergonomic design . CEO office was a space to showoff,to create a sense of respect and fear in the workers. Nowadays as the human research in the field of working environment develops and unfolds we understand that our work space if often the space we spend most of our lives in. The office should be designed for the person in it and according to the each company's organizational culture and understanding of the working relations.
